AmtSocial | The Amtgard Network is an online community for members of the LARP (Live Action Role Playing Game) known as Amtgard. While this community was built for Amtgards members everyone is welcome as we love to spread the joy.
AmtSocial is being built upon the Elgg v1.5 social networking script and here are just some of the features this site offers its members:

Artus Pass is a RP based Sunday park in the Dallas Area. We can be found every Sunday at 2pm at the corner of Buckner and Northwest highway between the baseball field parking lot an Buckner. Shire Order of The Black Flame
We are a Shire in Alton,Il and are located at Gordon Moore Park. We play every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00am to 2:00pm, we are fairly new and we have little equipment for our group, we are growing in both numbers and skill, we currently have 27 to 33 active members. Interested in Amtgard?
If you are not currently a member of Amtgard but are interested in joining there are several great resources online to help you out, and we will give you the steps you need to get started.
1. Download the rulebook and read it.
2. Locate a park near you. You can use the ORK Atlas to help.
3. Go to the park you chose on their scheduled game day and get started.
It really is that easy, now go get some foam weapons and start building your experience.
!Rules of AmtSocial!
We are not fond of rules but its best we outline some ground rules to ensure everyone here as an enjoyable experience.
1. No pornography. Everyone likes to try and define this word based on personal definitions so we will give you the definition used by this site. No pictures or links to pictures that contain nudity.
2. No flaming. If someone says something stupid please handle it like an adult. Flaming will not be tolerated.
3. Moderate your language. We dont want to have to regulate what people say, freedom of speech and all so feel free to post however you like but if the language used causes us to receive more than three (3) complaints your post will be removed without notification to you.
4. Have fun.
Developer Help!
The development of AmtSocial is a lot of work so we are looking to for any Amtgardians with the following skills to volunteer time to help bring AmtSocial to life:
PHP, CSS, XML, XHTML, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL.
